Food & Nutrition Investment Solution

Investing in environmentally friendly food and nutrition resilient systems is important to achieving many of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including goal 1: “no poverty”, goal 2: “zero hunger”, goal 3: “good health and wellbeing”, goal 4: “quality education”, goal 5: “gender equality”, goal 6: “clean water and sanitation”, goal 8: “decent work and economic growth”, goal 10: “reduce inequality”, among others. Far too many Nigerians continue to depend on donations to meet their food and nutrition needs. The consequences of this are many including vulnerable populations who are unable to contribute positively to community and the economy. There is a strong economic, development, and security case for innovative investments in food and nutrition solutions that takes a systems and community approach.
